Crocodile Fern mounting on the wall

I mounted my Crocodile Fern today. It was fun. I gave up on Maidenhair Fern because I keep killing them. But some other ferns like this Croc is a lot more forgiving. This video is just an idea to show you how I did it. I got this wood piece from @domesticatedplants and it’s perfect. I went with fishing line so it can look invisible but it was very slippery. A small twine or rope would probably be easier.

Just some simple steps:
1. Find a piece of wood that won’t rot easily. Cedar or Driftwood.
2. Put screws around in a circle to about the size of your pot. Leave about 0.25″ above the wood so you can loop your string around them.
3. Loosen your plant roots a bit and place it how you like it on the wood.
4. Cover the top with wet sphagnum moss and make a half sphere dome.
5. Tie a string or fishing line from one screw and the others on top to the moss dome to secure your plant to the wood mount.
6. Place a hook in the back of the wood for mounting on the wall.
